Welcome everybody to our latest addition @ Casey Pettit Coaching - Futsal
* Limited Spaces Available *
This slight pause to our younger groups at Futsal will not be for long! We are currently finding ways to ensure these sessions can go ahead and make them even better than before! Stay patient and look out for updates on this.
The plan moving forward is that the older ones from the middle group will jump up to the older group at 7-8pm. This will then allow us to have 2 coaches at the minimum working and helping your children improve faster!
The idea behind the 2 coaches is to split the group in half at the start of the session. We will split them into age/ quality based groups depending on the session design. This will allow your child to get more touches on the ball as well as feel comfortable with the level they are playing in. This allows for challenges, target setting and overall the best/ quickest way your children will improve. At the end of the session, we will look to bring everyone together and play games/ tournaments to hopefully bring out what we have just learned in the hours training.
Although myself (Casey) personally won't be there face to face coaching, I will be planning the sessions and getting feedback each week to ensure the development of your child is at its peak.
I hope you all can understand everything going on. Any questions you may have, please let me know and I will be more than happy to answer.
Thanks Casey
Futsal is a football-based game played mainly indoors on a small but hard surface. It is very similar to 5-a-side football.
Futsal is so beneficial for young players. It helps them improve first touch, movement, dribbling, overall fitness and many more!
Not to mention the amount of friends you can make while playing!
Read below to learn more on why FUTSAL is ideal for young players…
Did you know that when compared to an indoor football game, FUTSAL players touch the ball 210% more! When compared to a normal football game, players touch the ball a total of 600% more! This means they get more touches of the ball and are able to improve their technical ability even more!
YES, some big names as well! The likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Marta Viera all played FUTSAL!
Messi - “As a little boy in Argentina, I played FUTSAL on the streets and for my club. It was tremendous fun, and it really helped me become who I am today.”
Ronaldo - “During my childhood in Portugal, all we played was FUTSAL. The small playing area helped me improve my close control, and whenever I played FUTSAL, I felt free. If it wasn’t for FUTSAL, I wouldn’t be the player I am today.”
Marta Viera - “FUTSAL is a fantastic sport! A lot of what I do on the football pitch comes from playing FUTSAL such as quick decision making and learning how to perform in small spaces.”
